Pure Ohms Black 7-Hydroxymitragynine Liquid Extract Shot 2oz — DISCONTINUED

Pure Ohms Black 7-Hydroxymitragynine Liquid Extract Shot 2oz

Pure Ohms Black 7-Hydroxymitragynine Liquid Extract Shot 2oz is another power extract shot from the Pure Ohms team. This company’s last shot, the Breeze 7-Hydroxymitragynine Kratom + Kava Shot 2oz, looked to break the mold and introduce something unique. The Black shot still utilizes a blend but leans much heavier on the 7OH. This promises users the full potent benefits of kratom enthusiasts’ favorite alkaloid.

Pure Ohms has found what they consider just the right ratio of alkaloids from the mitragyna speciosa plant to produce the powerful and beneficial effects of 7OH while still providing a more full-spectrum feel, giving users the best of both worlds. These shots were created using the highest-quality, fully mature kratom leaves and advanced extraction and processing methods to retain purity.

They have also spent an absurd amount of R&D time formulating these with all-natural ingredients and flavors to ensure a potent herbal tonic and a tasty one. Think dark, smoky notes with subtle hints of sweetness for a balanced taste, much like an aged liquor! Enjoy a full-spectrum experience, potent effects, and delicious flavor packed into one 60ml shot.

Pure Ohms Black 7-Hydroxymitragynine Liquid Extract Shots come in a resealable plastic bottle. Every bottle contains a potent 2oz blend of 20mg high-purity 7OH extract and 55mg Mitragynine, promising a balanced and longer duration of effects.

Each 60ml bottle was formulated to be consumed in four servings, each consisting of 5mg of 7-Hydroxy and 13.75mg mitragynine. Kratom users themselves expertly curated this formula for the seasoned kratom enthusiast seeking a more intense and comprehensive kratom experience.

How Does The Effectiveness Of 7-Hydroxymitragynine Compare When Taken Alone Vs. With Mitragynine?

This is one of the top questions that the Great CBD Shop team receives from our kratom-loving friends. Thus far, there doesn’t seem to be any significantly strong evidence that either option is considered a “better” option.

One thing that kratom users can seem to agree on is that combining Mitragynine with their 7OH dose does seem to lengthen the duration of effects. There has not been much research done regarding the effectiveness with or without Mitragynine on humans.

Although that is the case, based on the research, there are some key differences in the effectiveness of 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) when taken alone versus with Mitragynine. We’ll break these down below.

• Potency-

Mitragynine is less potent at the mu-opioid receptor than 7-OH. Compared to Mitragynine, it has a roughly 9-fold greater affinity for the receptor.

• Analgesic Effects-

In mice, 7-OH was found to be 2.8 times more powerful than Mitragynine when given alone to produce antinociceptive (pain-relieving) effects.

• Brain Concentrations-

When 7-OH was generated as a metabolite of Mitragynine, its brain concentration was significantly lower than when it was delivered alone, even at equal effective doses for analgesia. In particular, as a metabolite of Mitragynine, the concentration of 7-OH in the brain was 11 times lower.

• Contribution To Mitragynine’s Effects-

Research indicates that the amount of 7-OH generated as a metabolite of Mitragynine is sufficient to explain its opioid-mediated analgesic effect, even though it has a higher potency. In mice, the parent chemical mitragynine does not directly impact the analgesic effect of the molecule.

• Complex Pharmacology-

Mitragynine has a complicated pharmacology that combines activity at non-opioid receptors with low-efficacious mu-opioid receptor agonism. However, 7-OH seems to be a more effective and selective mu-opioid receptor agonist.

• Metabolic Relationship-

One way that Mitragynine works in the body is by converting it to 7-OH. A minor mechanism that results in the conversion of 7-OH back to Mitragynine is also possible.

In layman’s terms, it depends on what effects the user is seeking. Per the research, taking 7-hydroxymitragynine in isolation is much better for users seeking the plant’s more relaxing and analgesic effects. At the same time, combining Mitragynine with 7-hydroxy produces the overall effects of the mitragyna speciosa plant.
